What did they teach the WORLD..?

SPECIAL CHILDREN
Eight Children were standing on the track to participate in a running event.

* Ready! * Steady! * Bang !!!

With the sound of Toy pistol,

All eight girls started running.

Hardly had they covered ten to fifteen steps,

when one of the smaller girls slipped and fell down,

Due to bruises and pain she started crying.

When the other seven girls heard the little girl cry they stopped running, stood for a while and turned back.

Seeing the girl on the track they all ran to help.

One among them bent down, picked her up and kissed her gently

And enquired as to how she was..

They then lifted the fallen girl pacifying her.

Two of them held her firmly while all seven joined hands together and walked together towards the winning post........ ..

There was pin drop silence at the spectator's stand.

Slow claps multiplied to thousands as the spectators stood up in appreciation.

Many eyes were filled with tears

All these special girls had come to participate in this event

They were spastic children and Mentally Challenged.

What did they teach the WORLD..?

This happened during the sport event conducted by National Institute of Mental Health at Hyderabad.

NOW A DAYS THERE IS AN ADVT. ON TV WHICH PRAISE GOVT BY SAYING : "हो रहा भारत निर्माण".
BUT I FEEL, A COMMON MAN TAKES IT LIKE THIS.....

MY DEAR FRIEND

TODAY, I REMEMBERED YOU A LOT
NOT BECAUSE IT WAS A FRIENDSHIP DAY
BUT BECAUSE I KEEP FEELING
THAT YOU VERY FAR AWAY

I PASSED THROUGH THE WAY WHERE WE USED TO MEET
THE RESTAURANT WHERE WE USED TO HAVE DINNER
THE RED CHILLIES NEVER TASTED BITTER
THE LACK OF THEM IS INDEET NOT SWEETER

I WENT TO THE ROOM WHERE,
YOUR BELONGINGS ARE STILL THERE
SO NICE OF YOU
THAT YOU LEFT SO MUCH THERE
SO THAT WE CAN FEEL
YOU ARE STILL HERE

I CRAVE FOR THE DINNER WITH YOU
I CRAVE FOR THE TIME SPEND WITH YOU
I CRAVE FOR ALL THOSE MOMENTS
WHICH WE SPENT TOGETHER.

WISHED ONE ANOTHER
BECAME HAPPY TO SEE THE MESSAGES
PLEASED TO GET THE GIFTS
ENJOYED THE OUTINGS
HAD TALKS WITH THOSE
WHO ARE FAR AWAY

WHY DO WE DO ALL THIS...

Hundreds Fast against Caste Census

New Delhi – July 19,2010 : The demand to exclude caste enumeration from the “Census of 2011” was supported unanimously by hundreds of fasting youngmen and several dignitaries at 13 – Barakhamba Road New Delhi on Sunday under the leadership of Dr. Ved Pratap Vaidik.

Dr Ved Pratap Vaidik, the National Convener of the Movement, stated that the inclusion of caste in Census is the most unscientific way of eliminating poverty from India. It will harm the backward classes the most. It will create an unbridgeable cleavage between various castes in India. It would lead to vote bank politics and poison theminds of our youth.

Viresh Pratap Chaudhary, President of the All India Arya youth Samaj, Mr. Anil Arya, Supreme Court lawyer J.C. Batra, Prof. S. C. Role of writer's organizations in the present day of India.

Dear Friends/Fellow writers,

In the silver jubilee programme of Indian Society of Authors (INSA), writers from across the nation, put their in-depth thoughts on the role of writer's association in contemporary India.

Some emphasized to fight for the writers and some on motivating budding writers.

The important facts pointed out just in the beginning were:

" Do the Writer's organization exist only for the sake of existence?"

"Do they really do something meaningful?"

Then some thoughtful points were put among the audience like:
-First we should introspect and find out where do we lack?
-Senior authors must communicate with the juniors.
-There must be freedom and opportunity for every body to contribute with their creation.
-Writer's welfare must be the primary responsibility of Author's Organizations.

Reaching to young writers was the point, raised by many speakers.

"ITS BETTER TO TRY AND FALL
RATHER THAN TRYING NOT"

The programme was presided by the president of INSA Mr. Dinesh Mishra and there were more than forty writers who spoke on the occasion.

The last session of the day was the recitation of creative pieces by the authors of INSA.

A COMMON MAN

A common man
with all those
common drawbacks
which a common man
can have.

I am an honest person,
but lie sometimes.

I am kind and gentle,
but rude sometime.

I am liked and loved,
but may be hated sometime.

I am respected and cared
but ignored sometime.

"SLUM'S SOCIAL WORKER"

"SLUM'S SOCIAL WORKER"

They come again and again
In the sun and in the rain

They come to our homes
They come to our streets
They give us toffees, gums
Chocolates and sweets.

They talk to our parents
About health and education
But our parents are in hurry
To go to pull rickshaw
To drive the cars of others
And to wash the dishes
In the kitchen of others
Our own kitchen remains
Dirty and empty

They come again and again
In the sun and in the rain
Having a bag, some files and papers
Some printed and some blank
Always they talk to someone or other
They sit anywhere, do not seem to bother.

Sometimes they also come with a doctor
He tells to be clean & tidy for health matter.

They come now, they come then
They say this, they say that
They ask us to go to them
To learn the lessons they have
Designed for us who live in slums
For those who have not seen school.

They give us food
They give us toys
They give us books
They give us joys
They play with us
They laugh with us

In the beginning they came by bus
In Kurta, Pajama and sleepers in feet
Looking angrily at shinning sun in the sky
But now they come in their long AC cars
Wearing coat-Pant and a shinning tie.

"GRANDMOTHER"

“Grandmother”

The phone rang very late in the night,
She is ill, said the voice at that side.
Ill, so seriously, Doctors were defeated
With all their might, they’d treated.
Nothing could be done, they’d said
Away, was her son (he is my dad)

We were busy in making some cash
Idea of taking break sounded as a clash

We’d to choose between money & granny
Money was near and very far had gone granny.
Both kept fighting in out money conscious mind
In the light of money we were absolutely blind.

Granny was dead and money was there with all its might
We could see only money, granny was out of sight.

Between the money and the granny
We preferred the money and left granny

No one went there to attend her last rituals
As we were professionals not the spirituals.
